1. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to use ShopPause. By using the app, you confirm that you meet this requirement. If you are under 18, you should have your parent or guardian's permission.

You agree to use ShopPause only for its intended purpose: helping you be more intentional with your shopping. You must not:

• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or tamper with the app
• Use the app for any unlawful purpose or in a way that violates these Terms
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems or another user's account
• Use automated tools or scripts to interact with the app

5. Intellectual property

All content in the ShopPause app, including the design, logo, text, and code, is owned by e-Fuse and is protected by Australian and international intellectual property law. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the app for personal, non-commercial purposes. Nothing in these Terms transfers any intellectual property rights to you.

6. Your content

The shopping items you save in ShopPause (product names, URLs, prices, images) are stored locally on your device and remain yours. We do not claim ownership over them. You are responsible for ensuring that any content you add does not infringe a third party's rights. For details on how we handle your data, please see our Privacy Policy.

7. Disclaimers

ShopPause is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free from viruses. We make no representations about the accuracy or completeness of any product information you add to the app, as that data comes from external sources.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, e-Fuse is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss arising from your use of ShopPause. Our total liability for any claim related to the app is limited to the amount you paid for your subscription in the three months preceding the claim. Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude, restrict, or modify rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law.

9. Termination

You can delete your account at any time from the Settings screen in the app. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you breach these Terms or if we reasonably believe your use poses a risk to others or to our systems. Provisions that by nature should survive termination, including intellectual property, disclaimers, and limitation of liability, will do so.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia. You agree to submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Victoria for any dispute arising from or relating to these Terms or your use of ShopPause.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. If changes are material, we will notify you within the app. Continued use of ShopPause after any changes means you accept the updated Terms.
